Ouch Design came alive on December 17th, 1999 in Watford, Hertfordshire.

Initially a full time graphic designer, our creative director, Steff Cole decided that ‘working for others’ wasn’t for him and had much bigger aspirations. At 25, socialising was high on the agenda in order to meet business owners. Steff managed to land a contract with ‘MODIS’, an SAP recruitment & consultancy firm who were going places. Globally.

“I got on with their Managing Director Chris Holcroft so well, that he entrusted me with the re-brand of Modis to ‘IT Link’. He then went on to sell IT Link and kept me on to be brand guardian for his future companies. The rest is history”.

Since then, he has had the pleasure of working alongside a whole host of international companies and global organisations, allowing him to understand a wide variety of industries and to meet a truly unique, hugely influential and extremely interesting client base.
